If you decide you do not want to keep the meat, you’re welcome to donate the animal to a local food bank. On your paperwork you will mark “donate” this tells the fairgrounds that you would like your animal donated to a local food bank.  Please note this option is only available for steers, lambs, goats and hogs. 

With this choice you will be still responsible to pay for the animal and the processing fee, then the animal is delivered directly to the food bank.
