We sincerely thank the generous supporters of our Buyer’s Coalition, whose contributions have helped us raise close to $85,000. Your donations play a vital role in supporting local 4-H and FFA youth while also helping feed our community.
With these funds, we are able to purchase 4-H and FFA livestock projects through the Santa Clara County Fair’s Junior Livestock Auction and donate the meat to local soup kitchens and food banks. Your generosity is a unique way of supporting both the future of agriculture and the local families who rely on these essential services.
Thank you for your commitment to fostering a stronger connection between the youth who will help feed our nation and the communities that depend on them!
Through this collaboration, we contributed meat that had been raised by the dedicated efforts of 4-H and FFA youths, with the goal of distributing it across our local Salvation Army food pantries. This year, we proudly purchased 29 animals and raised $85,000 to support our community! The premium-quality meat provided is a testament to the hard work of our local agricultural entrepreneurs and the generosity of our supporters. This partnership stands as a remarkable example of working together to bolster and showcase local agriculture and entrepreneurial spirit, all while addressing the issue of hunger within our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our local agricultural entrepreneurs, benefactors, and the dedicated team at Freedom Meat Lockers. Their support and efforts were crucial in making this partnership a reality.

Poster Due By May 15, 2024
In celebration of the 80th year of the Santa Clara County Fair, we’re thrilled to announce a unique opportunity for young artists to create a commemorative fair poster. The Santa Clara County Fair has a rich history, dating back to its establishment in 1941.
In this competition, we are looking for young artists to channel their creative talents to illustrate how the Silicon Valley has evolved over the years, transitioning ‘From the Fields’ to the transformation of a tech-based landscape ‘The Future’. Let your artistic vision capture the essence of this journey as we celebrate the 2024 Santa Clara County Fair.
